| “Risen with Healing in His wings” I was struck by this line from the carol ‘Hark the Herald Angels sing. The painting is for two friends who both lived lives full of shadows which eventually overwhelmed them. My prayer and hope is that they have found the light, life, healing and peace of Christ beyond this world. "Hail the heav'n-born Prince of Peace! Hail the Son of Righteousness! Light and life to all He brings Ris'n with healing in His wings Mild He lays His glory by Born that man no more may die Born to raise the sons of earth Born to give them second birth." But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. Malachi4:2
